Finding a photo I had taken from St Mary's Church Tower the other day gave me the idea to show the photo's I took of the churchyard from on high
On the wall a commemoration plaque with the names of the people who played that day, I am proud to see my Friend Cliff Garlick mentioned, though he played mainly at West Hagbourne his name can be seen on many plaques like this
As you limb up towards the Bells you will pass this sanctus bell
This looks West, over in the corner to the right you can make out Agatha Christies grave by the wall
Another shot of the bells taken on the way down
I will leave you this week with this shot of the weathervane on top of the tower
Till Next Time Stay Safe and have a wonderful weekend

Love the weathervane.
Yes you get a great view. especially in a good day
No problem Robin glad you enjoyed it
Not something you can appreciate from ground level
I am impressed that you climbed those steep and worn old steps.
I was a little younger then but son I have climbed are bad
Thank you for sharing the climb up into the bell tower with all the details along the way. Then the views of the churchyard are interesting. The tour is not something that you would do often unless you were a bellringer and very interesting. I hope you are having a good week.
I have been up a couple of towers and been outside all have their steep stairs to climb which are very worn
